WisDOT holding public involvement meeting on WIS 80 project
Progress on the updated design will be discussed at the meeting

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is holding a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed options for WIS 73/WIS 80/County A intersection and WIS 80 from Poplar Street to the WIS 73 intersection located in the city of Pittsville, Wood County.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2024, starting at 5 pm, at the Pittsville Community Hall located at 5291 3rd Ave in Pittsville. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:10 pm.  Officials will be on hand after the presentation to answer any questions.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the progress of the design of the WIS 73/WIS 80/ County A intersection and the WIS 80 from Poplar Street to the WIS 73 projects. Information about the proposed improvements, traffic impacts, real estate needs and the project schedule will be discussed.

Construction is scheduled to begin in spring of 2026.
